There are going to be all kinds of negative energy that will find its way to you, and it will be strong enough to evoke negative emotions. Negative emotions can be born out of the interactions you have with people and your environment. You can never control the people around you and you can never control what is going to happen, but you can always control how you respond to everything that happens.

Controlling What You Feel

You cannot control others but you can control yourself. Negative emotions will come, even if you avoid it, and you cannot do anything about it. What you can control is how you deal with the negative emotions, and this is through channeling positive thoughts, instead, to effectively cast it out of you. You control your emotions because negative emotions can be quite destructive and it can possess someone and cause them to make wrong decisions. Negative emotions can kill dreams and it can weaken a person and paralyze him or her. If you want to live your life to the fullest, you have to learn to get rid of your negative emotions and believe strongly on the power of positivity.

How to Stay Positive

It is not impossible to stay positive every day. You just have to have the right plan and the right attitude for it. Here are some tips you can follow:

·         Keep a smile on your face: You can embrace positivity by first learning to become positive. A smile is as infectious as any kind of disease and if you work hard at plastering a smile on your face, every day, you will be sure to attract more positive things and kick all the negative energy out. Also, if you are happy, the people around you will be happy and the condition will just be lighter and be easier to take.

·         Have the right company: If you surround yourself with negative people, then you will feed off their aura. So stay away from these people and choose to be with those who can bring about a positive change in your life.

·         Show gratitude: Instead of counting the bad things in your life, why not focus on the good things that you ought to be grateful for? Look around you and learn to appreciate life. Look back on your life and remember the triumphs you have had. Think of all the good and focus on them. Let these invigorate you and help you channel out the bad.

·         Enjoy life: Do not worry about things you have no control over. Worrying only shows on your face in the form of pimples and wrinkles. Enjoy life for what it is, and embrace it.
