The Amazing Power of Meditation
If you take some time to open your ears and your mind
to all the sounds and thoughts around you, you will realize just how chaotic
this world is. There are too many people and there are just so many things
happening around you, that most of time, it can be very hard to concentrate and
make sound decisions. Often times, your choices are influenced by the voices
around you and the environment that you are in. In the midst of chaos, you need
to be able to channel some inner peace, and you can do that effectively by
learning how to meditate.
What Motivation Can Do for You
A lot of people take meditation seriously because they
say that through it, you are able to harness your mind so that it travels
faster and it can bring you into a state of relaxation that enables you to
remain composed, even in the middle of a crisis. People are always confronted
by situations that bring them to their own breaking points. If your mind is
congested, this can be constancy, but when you learn to meditate, you can
cancel out negative thoughts and bring yourself somewhere else.
Your brain is a very complicated anatomical and
physiological organ. You are only able to access a portion of your brain, on a
normal state, but if you allow yourself to channel through your thoughts in the
right way, you can get in touch with your inner self and gain control over your
true potential.
Preparing to Meditate
If you want to be able to channel your inner self
through meditation, here are some techniques that you can take:
·
Breathing
meditation: Stretch out about twelve to twenty breaths per minute and just
allow and wait for yourself to enter a state where you can drown everything out
and just be alone with your body and your thoughts.
·
Binaural beats
meditation: By using headphones, you can open you mind because the beats will
bring you to a state where you can access your mind completely.
·
Traditional
meditation: The traditional method makes use of music and this allow you to
focus and channel specific emotions. The key here is channeling through and you
need to be able to relax and just think clearly.
The Proper Way to Meditate
When you meditate, you can do so while sitting down or
kneeling. It is important that you are comfortable and not in a position to
strain yourself, so make sure to evaluate your position first, before you
decide to begin. It is sometimes nice to use cushions. Make sure that your
pelvis is in a neutral position and in no way should you ever be slumped
forward or backward. It is important that your spine is erect and the neck is
positioned at the center of the pelvic basin, so that there is an even
distribution of your weight all over your body and bones.
You can choose to keep your eyes closed or they could
be open. What is important is that no matter what you choose, you are able to
focus. Rest your forearms on your thighs and make sure that you are not
strained. A successful meditation experience is one where you are truly
comfortable enough to escape from all the noise and distractions.
